Cuff Grip (aka Pocket Grip aka Spider Guard Grip)

Cuff Grip (aka Pocket Grip aka Spider Guard Grip)
Technique Description:

The Cuff Grip is a strong grip made with four fingers (not your thumb) gripping the end of your opponent's cuff, and curling them into your palm. Cuff Grips are most commonly used to control an opponent's arms, however, it can also be used to control an opponent's legs.

Technique - Other Options:

When you have your opponent inside your closed guard, and are making the Cuff Grip, pull away from your opponent with your elbows flared rather than pulling down into the floor, that is, your palm should be facing inward rather than your palm facing up.
